This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information.

By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

• Account data: name, email address, phone number, password (hashed), and profile information you submit during sign-up or in your dashboard.
• Payment data: billing name, billing address, and transaction history. Card numbers are processed by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
• Course interactions: homework submissions, quiz answers, comments, and other content you create inside the platform.
• Communications: messages you send us by email, SMS, or through our contact forms.

1.2 Information we collect automatically

• Usage data: pages visited, lessons completed, time spent, click events, and similar product analytics.
• Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and approximate geographic location.
• Cookies: we use first-party cookies for authentication and analytics. Third-party cookies may be set by integrated tools (Stripe, Firebase).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information only for the following purposes:

• To provide and operate the Services (account access, lesson delivery, certificates).
• To process payments and prevent fraud.
• To send transactional messages (purchase confirmations, password resets, homework reminders, lesson releases) — by email and, if you opt in, by SMS.
• To send promotional messages and product updates — only with your explicit consent, which you can revoke at any time.
• To improve the Services through analytics and product research.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. SMS Messaging

3.1 Types of SMS messages we send

• Transactional: payment confirmations, lesson release notifications, homework reminders, account security alerts.
• Promotional / marketing: course launches, coaching offers, community events. Only sent if you opted in to marketing.
• Sales follow-ups: if you submitted an inquiry form requesting more information about our products.

3.2 How to stop SMS messages

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any of our messages. You may also reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at contact@corexos.app.

3.3 Frequency and rates

Message frequency varies depending on your activity and preferences. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. We do not charge for SMS, but your carrier may.

3.4 Sharing of SMS data

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers and SMS consent records are only shared with our messaging infrastructure providers (Twilio and Telnyx) for the purpose of delivering messages.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients:

• Service providers: Stripe (payments), Firebase / Google Cloud (hosting, authentication, database), Twilio and Telnyx (SMS and voice), Vercel (web hosting), and email delivery providers — all under contractual data protection obligations.
• Legal authorities: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• Successors: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal data may transfer to the successor entity.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services and comply with legal obligations. Account data is retained while your account is active; you may request deletion at any time (see Section 7). Transactional records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted database storage, password hashing, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: request deletion of your personal data (with some exceptions for legal compliance).

Our Services are operated from the United States. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
